How It Works

1 Connect Your Wallet

Click "Connect Wallet" in the top right to connect your Ethereum wallet (MetaMask, WalletConnect, etc.). Make sure you're on Arbitrum One network.

You'll need some USDC on Arbitrum to place bids. You can bridge USDC from Ethereum mainnet using the official Arbitrum Bridge.

2 Understand the Auction

Access to signals is sold through hourly English auctions. Each auction round:

  • Runs for 1 hour (aligned to clock hours: 00:00, 01:00, etc.)
  • Has a minimum bid (reserve price) of 10 USDC
  • The highest bidder at the end wins access for the following hour
  • Outbid? Your USDC is refunded automatically (claim via the contract)

Example: Win the 14:00-15:00 auction, and you get signal access from 15:00-16:00.

3 Place a Bid

To bid on a signal:

  • Click the "Bid" button next to the signal you want
  • Enter your bid amount (must be higher than current highest bid + minimum increment)
  • Approve USDC spending if this is your first bid
  • Confirm the transaction in your wallet

You can increase your bid at any time during the auction. If you're outbid, your previous bid becomes refundable.

4 Win and Access Signals

If you're the highest bidder when the round ends:

  • You become the "Access Holder" for the next hour
  • Return to this page and connect your wallet
  • Click "Load Signal" to authenticate (one-time signature, no gas)
  • View live trading signals updated in real-time

Access expires at the end of the hour. You'll need to win another auction for continued access.

5 Understanding the Signal

The signal provides actionable trading information for ETH/USD:

  • Overall Trade: LONG or SHORT - the recommended position direction
  • Position Size: 0.0 to 1.0 - recommended allocation (1.0 = full position)
  • Current Price: ETH price at signal generation time
  • Expected Volatility: Short term volatility forecast (informational)
  • Expected Direction: Short term directional bias (informational)

The primary signals are Overall Trade and Position Size. Expected Volatility and Direction are supplementary information.

6 API Access (Advanced)

Authorized users can also fetch signals programmatically via the API:

GET /api/signal?address=YOUR_ADDRESS&signature=SIG&message=MSG

Response:
{
  "action": "LONG",
  "position": 0.64,
  "price": 2689.43,
  "pair": "ETH/USD",
  "expected_volatility": "Average",
  "expected_direction": null
}

To authenticate API requests:

  • Sign the message: Mantis Signal Access\nTimestamp: UNIX_TIMESTAMP
  • Include your address, signature, and message as query parameters
  • Signatures are valid for 1 hour

Frequently Asked Questions

What happens if no one bids?

If there are no bids in a round, no one gets access for that hour. The previous winner's access has already expired.

Can I get a refund if I'm outbid?

Yes! When you're outbid, your USDC is credited to your refundable balance. Call withdrawRefund() on the contract to claim it.

What chain is this on?

Arbitrum One (Chain ID: 42161). Bids are in USDC (native Arbitrum USDC).

How often are signals updated?

Signals are updated continuously. The page auto-refreshes every 60 seconds, or click "Refresh" for immediate update.
